Trump: It’s ‘Treasonous’ to Not Clap for Me
‘Can We Call That Treason? Why Not?’
President Donald Trump says it’s “treasonous” to not clap for him. Speaking at an Ohio hydraulic cylinders manufacturing plant the president took some time to share his hurt feelings when Democrats did not clap for him at the State of the Union address last week.
The president said it got so bad that at one point he stopped looking at the Democrats, who sit at his right, complaining they were giving off too much “bad energy.” He also accused the Democrats of being “totally selfish” for not clapping.
And then, Trump told the workers that “somebody” said it was “treasonous” to not applaud him for taking credit for low Black unemployment. Trump repeatedly has been taking credit for lowering Black unemployment, which he falsely claims is the lowest in history. (It is not.)
Trump says the Democrats would rather see him “do badly†than the US do well: “Somebody said ‘treasonous’. I mean, yeah, I guess. Why not?†https://t.co/E2AOVJNiGE

“Can we call that treason? Why not? I mean, they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much. But you look at that. It’s really very very sad,” Trump told workers.
What Trump fails to understand is Democrats didn’t clap because they refuse to give him credit for low unemployment in the Black community, because he has done exactly nothing to earn it. He takes credit for everything good, while blaming everyone else for anything bad.
Earlier President Trump, about 30 minutes of bragging about the state of the economy and taking credit for it – as the DOW dropped just under 1600 points – Trump told workers he is “non-braggadocios.”
