Adam Schiff Blasts Trump for ‘Busy Morning’ of ‘Executive Time’
‘The American People Would Appreciate It if You Turned Off the TV’
Rep. Adam Schiff is calling on President Donald Trump to reduce his “executive time,” turn off the television and protect Dreamers, or “really anything else.” Monday morning the president attacked the Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee by calling him “Little Adam Schiff.” But Trump also accused him of a federal crime, leaking confidential information from committee hearings – for which Trump offered zero proof. Trump also demanded Schiff “be stopped!“
Schiff wasted little time responding:
Mr. President, I see you’ve had a busy morning of “Executive Time.†Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or…really anything else. https://t.co/lVqQRu2Gjl

Trump is clearly angered that the Nunes memo, which he thought would be a bombshell and reveal evidence of criminal wrongdoing at the FBI, did not. The president, rightfully, sees Schiff as one of the top people who successfully debunked the memo, depriving the president of his latest attempt to derail the Russia investigation.
Before his tweet attacking Schiff, Trump Monday morning had posted two tweets proving he had been watching “Fox & Friends.”
