Trump Has Taken More Vacations in 10 Months Than Obama Did in 8 Years

No one should begrudge a president a vacation. If anything, especially with this president, the less time doing anything the better for America. But his constant lies are the problem, one Americans are all to familiar with now.

President Donald Trump is the physical embodiment of the “joke” many ask: “Working hard, or hardly working?” Trump is the latter.

On Christmas Day President Trump promised “tomorrow it’s back to work” – then went golfing at Mar-a-Lago instead, every single day. MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin daily tracks Trump’s visits to Trump-branded properties. For those keeping track, here’s today’s:

Today is New Year’s Day, and Trump once again is insisting he’s such a hard worker:

Clearly Trump is aware he is seen as less-than-hard-working: So many times he has told his supporters (who tend to believe anything he says) that he is working hard, even on legitimate vacations. He tries to project that he’s always working, when in fact he has had more time off in his first year as president than probably any other in modern history.

As of late November, according to The Washington Post, Trump has taken 35 vacations (not vacation days) in his first ten months. That means Trump has taken more vacations in 10 months than President Barack Obama took (29 vacations) in his entire eight years in office.
