Trump in Press Conference With Norway PM Decries ‘Witch Hunt,’ Attacks Hillary, Insists ‘There Is Collusion…With the Democrats’
‘Hillary Was for Windmills’
President Donald Trump held a joint press event with the Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, and did not hold back on his thoughts about the Mueller investigation.
Echoing his Wednesday morning tweet, Trump decried what he is calling Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt,” also known as the investigation into Russian interference in the U.S. election and any possible collusion between Trump, the Trump team, and and Russia.
The single greatest Witch Hunt in American history continues. There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes. Russia & the world is laughing at the stupidity they are witnessing. Republicans should finally take control!

The President also took the opportunity to attack his former Democratic political opponent Hillary Clinton, and insisted any collusion that’s happened has been between Hillary Clinton and the Democrats, and the Russians.Â
We are now 14 months removed from the election and Trump is invoking Hillary Clinton, repeatedly, in a news conference with visiting Norwegian prime minister.

“There is collusion, but it’s really with the Democrats and the Russians far more than it is with the Republicans and Russians. The witch hunt continues,” Trump claimed.
He called the allegations of collusion with Russia and any possible wrongdoing by his campaign “a Democrat hoax” and a “phony cloud” to deflect from Hillary Clinton losing the Electoral College and thus the White House.
“It has been determined that there is no collusion,” Trump falsely stated, “and by virtually everybody,” which is a total lie.Â

And in a strange attempt to somehow prove he is independent of Russia and President Putin, Trump told reporters, “I am for massive oil and gas and everything else…Putin can’t love that.”
“But Hillary was not for a strong military. And Hillary, my opponent, was for windmills.”

Trump also would not commit to an interview with Robert Mueller.
