Publisher of White House Bombshell Not Worried About Trump’s Threats – Puts Book on Sale Four Days Early
Book Goes on Sale Friday
Michael Wolff’s bombshell book has taken the entire nation by storm, dominating headlines and seemingly the majority of every cable news channel’s reports. President Donald Trump was so angered by the claims in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” he sent a cease and desist letter, first to Steve Bannon, then to the book’s publisher, trying to block the book from going on sale next week.
So not afraid or concerned about Trump’s temper is Henry Holt and Co. that it’s putting the book on sale four days early: tomorrow.
“Due to unprecedented demand, we are moving the on-sale date for all formats of ‘Fire and Fury,’ by Michael Wolff, to Friday, January 5, at 9 a.m. ET, from the current on-sale date of Tuesday, January 9,” a Henry Holt spokeswoman told CNN.
Wolff is equally unconcerned, openly mocking Trump’s and the White House’s attacks on the book, by posting a tweet thanking the president for all the attention he’s given it:
Here we go. You can buy it (and read it) tomorrow. Thank you, Mr. President.
