‘Incoherent Rambling Mashed Together With an Authoritarian Impulse to Try to Call for Jailing Political Opponents’
President Donald Trump’s tweets seem to be getting worse. There’s no shortage of articles suggesting the president may have early onset dementia – and there’s also no proof that he does. But his tweets, along with his disturbing slurring in a speech last month are fueling concerns Trump may be unfit for office.
Tuesday morning President Trump posted one of his strangest tweets ever.
In it he attacks Human Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s top aide (which Trump incorrectly spells “aid,”) over reports likely from far right wing websites like The Daily Caller, which try to suggest Abedin put the nation’s security at risk by using a Yahoo email account. “Abedin Forwarded State Passwords To Yahoo Before It Was Hacked By Foreign Agents,” the headline reads.
Trump’s tweet attacking a private U.S. citizen who has never run for office and has chosen to stay out of the public spotlight is disturbing.Â
The president also appears to refer to a former Navy sailor sentenced to a year in prison for taking photos inside a nuclear submarine.Â
Trump’s reference to the “Deep State Justice Dept” is just Fox News paranoia.
