Internet Mocks Trump for ‘Deranged’ ‘Incoherent’ ‘Authoritarian’ Tweet Attacking Top ‘Aid’ to Clinton
‘Incoherent Rambling Mashed Together With an Authoritarian Impulse to Try to Call for Jailing Political Opponents’
President Donald Trump’s tweets seem to be getting worse. There’s no shortage of articles suggesting the president may have early onset dementia – and there’s also no proof that he does. But his tweets, along with his disturbing slurring in a speech last month are fueling concerns Trump may be unfit for office.
Tuesday morning President Trump posted one of his strangest tweets ever.
Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents. Remember sailors pictures on submarine? Jail! Deep State Justice Dept must finally act? Also on Comey & others
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 2, 2018
In it he attacks Human Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s top aide (which Trump incorrectly spells “aid,”) over reports likely from far right wing websites like The Daily Caller, which try to suggest Abedin put the nation’s security at risk by using a Yahoo email account. “Abedin Forwarded State Passwords To Yahoo Before It Was Hacked By Foreign Agents,” the headline reads.
Trump’s tweet attacking a private U.S. citizen who has never run for office and has chosen to stay out of the public spotlight is disturbing.Â
The president also appears to refer to a former Navy sailor sentenced to a year in prison for taking photos inside a nuclear submarine.Â
Trump’s reference to the “Deep State Justice Dept” is just Fox News paranoia.
On Twitter many immediately responded by mocking the president:
This is a perfectly deranged archetype of Trumpian tweets: incoherent rambling mashed together with an authoritarian impulse to try to call for jailing political opponents and attacking anyone who challenges him. https://t.co/8nLw661wg4

Where to begin? Incoherent ranting. Reckless accusations. Misspelled words (aide). Random capitalizations. And most importantly, using whataboutism to try to further politicize rule of law. Trump is so obviously unfit for the office he holds. https://t.co/8nLw661wg4

Saying nothing of the fact that the “Deep State Justice Department†is run by Trump’s own appointees, his effort to use its power to punish his political rivals and protect him from law enforcement are an abuse of power. https://t.co/038bZJPu8i

If “disregarding basic security protocols” was a crime, several members of this administration — and nearly all of the Trump campaign — could be tried https://t.co/bMnMTWeStn

Remember when your son met with representatives of a foreign government to try & gain information on your political opponent? Then you told him to lie? Ahhh… good times.

Are you suggesting that James Comey needs to take the law into his own hands and engage in a citizens arrest of Huma Abedin? https://t.co/Yum35bSuLg
