BREAKING: House Passes Tax Cuts for the Rich Bill That Will Add $1.5 Trillion to Debt
227-203, No Democrats Voted for Disastrous Bill
Republicans in the House of Representatives just passed the GOP’s tax cuts for the rich bill, which is estimated to add $1.5 trillion to the debt. Various non-partisan studies say 60 percent of Americans will see their taxes rise, not fall, while the wealthiest Americans will receive a major cut in their taxes.
The final vote was 227-203, with no Democrats voting for the legislation.Â
The Senate is expected to vote on the bill as early as today.
