‘Make America Gay Again’ Banner Greets Mike Pence on Aspen Vacation
‘You Couldn’t Miss It’
Mike Pence and his wife Karen were greeted with a rainbow “Make America Gay Again†banner on their holiday vacation in Aspen, Colorado.
The Aspen Times reported the “welcome†to the vice president, arguably one of the most anti-LGBTQ politicians in modern history, on Friday.
“Neighbors of the home near Aspen where Pence and his wife, Karen Sue, are staying posted the message Wednesday or Thursday on a stone pillar that sits at the end of driveways to both homes,†they reported, citing Pitkin County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Buglione.
“You couldn’t miss it,†Buglione told the local newspaper. Take a look:

“(The banners) were actually hung by the daughters of the couple who live in the home, and one of their girlfriends (I’m one of them!) with the full support of their parents,” Shannon Slade advised the newspaper in an email.
Some Twitter users were quick to offer their appreciation for the gesture:
