President Gleefully Tweets About Hurricane That Will Bring Death and Destruction

Hurricane Irma, the most powerful Atlantic storm ever recorded, has made its first landfall on the Caribbean island of Barbuda, and President Donald Trump is really excited. Packing winds of 185 miles per hour, it is a Category 5 hurricane even bigger than Harvey, and it’s headed for Puerto Rico, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, the US Virgin Islands, and then Florida. 

It will undoubtedly bring death and destruction.

Meanwhile, people on social media are upset by Trump’s tweets. This is a massive hurricane. Instead of warning people, telling them what resources to turn to and promising their federal government will do everything possible to help them, the president is tweeting gleefully about it, as if it will harm no one.
