Internet Mocks Trump’s ‘Sad and Pathetic’ Early Morning Vacation Twitter Temper Tantrum
Nine (And Counting) Early AM Tweets Is Now ‘Working Hard’ in Trumpworld
President Donald Trump is on a 17-day vacation but he’s still getting up early to tweet. The Golfer-in-Chief will be spending the full two-and-a-half weeks at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course, and sure enough, starting at 6:38 Monday morning, Trump began his unhinged tweeting.
“The failing @nytimes, which has made every wrong prediction about me including my big election win (apologized), is totally inept!” he falsely claimed.
Some tried to figure out what set him off, others pointed to a New York Times article suggesting Vice President Pence is gearing up for a 2020 run, while others just mocked.
Translation: I’m really angry that they blew up the story of Mike Pence trying to undermine me and run in ’20, which is quite clear. https://t.co/lwU70TrHJ8

But his “failing New York Times” tweet was just the first of a series from a clearly bored Trump with nothing better to do than grind the ax on what he sees as an unfair and ungrateful nation and national mainstream media. Over more than an hour Trump, like a sad drunken college freshman, posted tweet after tweet after tweet, lamenting how the world has been so unfair to him, a billionaire real estate magnate who managed to parlay racism, ultra-nationalism, and fear into a White House win.
Trump went after his enemies in his early AM Twitter storm, including the “Fake News” media, and even U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut and one of Trump’s strongest opponents.
All while claiming his base loves him more than the rest of America thinks. “Will never change!” Trump insisted.
It’s safe to say almost nothing he tweeted is true or accurate.
The Trump base is far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling). Look at rallies in Penn, Iowa, Ohio…….

…and West Virginia. The fact is the Fake News Russian collusion story, record Stock Market, border security, military strength, jobs…..
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2017
… Supreme Court pick, economic enthusiasm, deregulation & so much more have driven the Trump base even closer together. Will never change!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2017
Hard to believe that with 24/7 #Fake News on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NYTIMES & WAPO, the Trump base is getting stronger!

Working hard from New Jersey while White House goes through long planned renovation. Going to New York next week for more meetings.

Interesting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2017
Never in U.S.history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal. He told stories about his Vietnam battles and….

…conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2017
Of course, not for a second would Trump consider that there are thousands of people working at each of the news outlets he named, and how is it that they are all against he for no reason? Has he ever considered there’s good reason is approval ratings are in the low to mid 30’s?
Here’s how some responded to his temper tantrum:
This is just sad and pathetic more than anything now. https://t.co/wVHSZfNenV

Any statement on yesterday’s terrorist attack on American soil at the Dar Al Farooq mosque in Minnesota, Donald?
America is waiting.

He’s right! It is very hard to believe his base is getting stronger because even sympathetic polls, like Rasmussen, have him tanking, at 39% pic.twitter.com/5HiFthjlR1
