Former Investment Bank Founder and Hedge Fund Manager Expected to Join White HouseÂ
Kellyanne Conway responded to a question about rumors President Trump has hired former investment bank founder and hedge fund manager Anthony Scaramucci as his Communications Director by praising him as a “killer.”
Speaking with “Fox & Friends” Friday morning, Conway lauded Scaramucci as “one of the killers on TV” and said he believes that President Trump is treated “very unfairly” in the press.

“Trump’s plans to appoint Scaramucci came as a surprise to Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who found out after the plans had already been made,” Axios reports, adding that Scaramucci “frequently appears on Fox News and is a longtime friend of Sean Hannity.”
Known as “the Mooch,â€Â Scaramucci was the subject of a report CNN retracted that led the the resignation of three journalists. He accepted the news network’s apology.
He’ll fit in with Trump’s climate change denialism.
“Look, I know that the current president believes that human beings are affecting the climate. There are scientists that believe that that’s not happening,†Scaramucci said in December He defended his position by saying, “there was an overwhelming science that the Earth was flat,” and “there was an overwhelming science that we were the center of the world.”
On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Friday, Donnie Deutch said Scaramucci “basically has no skill set in communications, which is like Jared Kushner, who has no skill set in negotiating in the Middle East. He has a guy that’s a bright guy, very affable guy. Zero skills.”
One positive departure from Trump and his administration’s views:Â Scaramucci says he supports LGBT equality.
One more point: I support the Gay Rights Movement and I am an active proponent of equality. https://t.co/IkJ6UXS0J8
