Trump Floats ‘Complete Power to Pardon’ While Confirming Sessions Leak, Attacking ‘Crimes’ of Clinton and Media
Also Attacked Democrats, Provoked Republicans, Defended Jr. Â
Unsurprisingly, the President of the United States began his weekend at 6:33 AM with his latest Twitter tantrum lasting nearly two hours.
Trump began by attacking the “Amazon Washington Post†for “a new INTELLIGENCE LEAK,†seemingly confirming the newspaper’s report that Attorney General Jeff Sessions discussed “campaign-related matters, including policy issues important to Moscow†with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak “during the 2016 presidential race, contrary to public assertions by the embattled attorney general.”
A new INTELLIGENCE LEAK from the Amazon Washington Post, this time against A.G. Jeff Sessions. These illegal leaks, like Comey’s, must stop!

Of note, Trump’s latest attack on James Comey follows his assertions that the now-fired FBI Director committed a felony, based upon a “Fox & Friends†story that the show admitted they incorrectly mischaracterized.
The president then accused the New York Times of aiding terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in their “sick agenda,†following their reporting that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said he believes al-Baghdadi is alive:
The Failing New York Times foiled U.S. attempt to kill the single most wanted terrorist,Al-Baghdadi.Their sick agenda over National Security

This week, reports surfaced that Trump has been weighing his power to pardon, and he floated the idea early this morning as well, advising that “while all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon,†the “only crime so far is LEAKS against us.FAKE NEWS.â€
While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us.FAKE NEWS
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
And although it’s been over 250 days since the presidential election, Trump turned his morning focus onto Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, complete with a misspelling of Counsel:
So many people are asking why isn’t the A.G. or Special Council looking at the many Hillary Clinton or Comey crimes. 33,000 e-mails deleted?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
…What about all of the Clinton ties to Russia, including Podesta Company, Uranium deal, Russian Reset, big dollar speeches etc.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
Next, Trump defended Donald Trump Jr.’s ever-evolving meeting last summer with “Russian government attorneyâ€Â Natalia Veselnitskaya, Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner and reportedly, four others:
My son Donald openly gave his e-mails to the media & authorities whereas Crooked Hillary Clinton deleted (& acid washed) her 33,000 e-mails!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
The president then defended new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, who called Trump “anti-American†and a “hack†in 2015:
In all fairness to Anthony Scaramucci, he wanted to endorse me 1st, before the Republican Primaries started, but didn’t think I was running!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
Finally, “president for all†Trump (seemingly) ended his latest Twitter tantrum by turning to the Republican effort to repeal and “replace†ObamaCare and attacking Democrats:
“The Republican Senators must step up to the plate and, after 7 years, vote to Repeal and Replace,†Trump wrote:
The Republican Senators must step up to the plate and, after 7 years, vote to Repeal and Replace. Next, Tax Reform and Infrastructure. WIN!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
ObamaCare is dead and the Democrats are obstructionists, no ideas or votes, only obstruction. It is solely up to the 52 Republican Senators!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017
The president, perhaps satisfied for the moment, ended his latest tantrum just over a half an hour before he was scheduled to depart the White House for the commissioning ceremony of the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford.
