REPORT: Trump Considering Giuliani to Replace Sessions
Would He Fire Sessions? Would Sessions Quit?Â
Could the White House shakeup continue?
Last week saw the resignation of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and the spokesperson for President Donald Trump’s personal legal team, but could more resignations be on the way?
President Trump has made clear he wants Attorney General Jeff Sessions gone. In a New York Times interview last Wednesday the President blasted the first Senator to endorse Trump, his-once-close top advisor. Trump called it “very unfair to the President” for Sessions to have recused himself from all things Russia. And Monday morning Trump was back at it, on Twitter labeling the former Alabama Senator his “beleaguered” attorney general.
Trump, in that tweet, blasted Sessions for not investigating his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
“President Trump is so unhappy with Attorney General Jeff Sessions that he has raised the possibility of bringing back Rudolph Giuliani to head the Justice Department, according to West Wing confidants,” Axios reports.
“In internal conversations, Trump has recently pondered the idea of nominating Giuliani, a stalwart of his campaign,” the report adds. But “Trump often muses about possible personnel moves that he never makes,” Axios notes.Â

Contrary to his “Apprentice” persona, Trump rarely fires top aides, although he is quick to toss out any pretense of loyalty, bullying those who have fallen out of favor.
Some responses via Twitter:
Rudy Giuliani is perhaps the only person on Earth who could make me utter the words “I miss Jeff Sessions.”

Incredibly humiliating for Sessions–who debased himself repeatedly for Trump only to be left “twisting in the wind” https://t.co/XCzUwD34pQ

Always refreshing to hear that we might go from racist Sessions to Rudy Giuliani, the guy who bragged about the “Muslim Ban”.
Sweet Lord!
