Trump: ‘Not Possible’ for White House Press Secretaries to Deliver Information With ‘Perfect Accuracy’
Threatens to Cancel All Press Briefings
President Donald Trump Friday morning appeared to defend his White House Press Office after both Press Secretary Sean Spicer and Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during daily press briefings said very little that was actually true this week. Both delivered false information that they may or may not have believed was true, but regardless of whether they were knowingly lying or just totally mis-informed, there is now a “crisis of credibility” with this White House.
“As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!” Trump tweeted. It should be noted his public schedule has been near-empty for the past seven days, and he golfs about every other weekend.
“Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future ‘press briefings’ and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???” Trump added.
That wouldn’t solve the problem – which is multi-faceted.
First, Trump does not hire “the best people.” Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders have from the very start proven they have zero credibility, and are willing to lie to the press and the American people without a second thought. They have lost all credibility.
A large part of the problem is Trump himself.
He says whatever he feels and then expects his press shop to fix it, then goes out and contradicts what they said in trying to fix what he just said.Â
Maybe the Trump White House should stop playing Whack-a-Mole with the truth?

@realDonaldTrump By “very active president” Trump means he is a tireless whiner, tweeter and golfer.
