On Day Two of Nine of Foreign Trip, White House Says Trump ‘Exhausted’
Stamina Issues?
On Friday, Donald Trump left Washington D.C. to begin his first trip overseas as president. On Saturday, he received Saudi Arabia’s highest civilian honor from the country’s King Salman, prompting his now Internet-famous curtsy.
And today, Trump gave a speech to 50 leaders from Muslim countries, deviating slightly from the script of his speech, saying “Islamic terror†rather than “Islamist.†He did so, according to White House officials, because he was exhausted:
At a briefing with reporters a WH official said POTUS is “exhausted.” https://t.co/0ll7Y4U1nt

Per several White House reporters in Saudi Arabia, senior official said Trump made a mistake today because he was “exhausted.” Whoo boy.

“He’s just an exhausted guy,†The Hill also reported that a senior White House official said, speaking to reporters on background—meaning, quite simply, that while their name cannot be attributed to their quotes, they may be published.
Donald Trump has a long, well-documented stance on stamina:
The many losers and haters never have the brains or stamina to become truly successful!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 19, 2013
If you really want to succeed, you’ll have to go for it every day. The big time isn’t for slackers. Keep up your stamina and remain curious.

.@HillaryClinton is weak on illegal immigration & totally incompetent as a manager and leader – no strength or stamina to be #POTUS!

His thoughts on stamina as president, of course, are also well known. During a presidential debate last year, Trump discussed Hillary Clinton’s stamina at great length. “She doesn’t have the look, she doesn’t have the stamina… I don’t believe she does have the stamina. To be president of this country, you have to have tremendous stamina.†Watch:
Trump also discussed it frequently on Twitter:
Hillary Clinton doesn’t have the strength or stamina to be president. Jeb Bush is a low energy individual, but Hillary is not much better!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 2, 2016
Hillary Clinton does not have the STRENGTH or STAMINA to be President. We need strong and super smart for our next leader – or trouble!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 9, 2015
Hillary Clinton is weak and ineffective – no strength, no stamina.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 16, 2015
Crooked Hillary has zero imagination and even less stamina. ISIS, China, Russia and all would love for her to be president. 4 more years!

Donald Trump was originally scheduled to partake in the “Tweeps Forum†today following his speech. Perhaps due to his reported exhaustion, Ivanka Trump filled in for her father.
