Gearing Up for 2020 Re-Election Trump Re-Launches Campaign Website
Visitors Can Buy an LGBT for Trump ‘Pride’ Tee
Election day for the 2020 presidential race is only 1274 days away, so the ever-forward-thinking Donald Trump today re-launched his campaign website, turning it into a re-election website, complete with the list of tremendous accomplishments Trump has made and, yes, Mother’s Day merchandise.
Trump became the first president to file for re-election on the same day he took the oath of office.
Just one day ago the Trump team removed from the old campaign website the then-candidate’s vile and chilling 2015 press release “calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” after it was cited by a reporter during the White House press briefing as proof the ban is a ban. That same day, a federal judge on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals also cited the press release as proof the ban is a ban targeting a specific religious group.Â
HuffPost Senior Political Reporter and Politics Managing Editor Amanda Terkel first reported the launch of the newly-madeover site on Twitter:

The section celebrating Trump’s first 100 days falsely says point-blank, in typical Trump fashion: “The mainstream media lies. Don’t let fake news dominate the truth. President Trump promised to Make America Great Again and he is fulfilling his promise to you.”
It claims Trump “has made a prosperous, safer, stronger America,” which is also false.Â
There is little mention of Vice President Mike Pence, aside from a bio well-below Trump’s, some photos, and the Trump-Pence logo.
While the site focuses on fundraising and email address capture, visitors can contribute in other ways, including by purchasing from a large swath of Trump-branded merchandise. Among the “Last Chance” offerings are an LGBT for Trump “Pride” tee, for $30. Obama executive order protecting transgender students, Supreme Court justice protecting marriage rights, and cabinet secretaries supporting equality not included.
