A Day Without a Woman Organizers Arrested Outside Trump Hotel
‘We Are Blocking Traffic as a Form of Civil Disobedience’
On International Women’s Day four of the organizers of the A Day Without a Woman protests were arrested outside a Trump International Hotel in New York City.Â
Wednesday afternoon, Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory, Carmen Perez, and Bob Bland were taken by police, Vox reports, after they say they blocked traffic as a form of civil disobedience.

The four are reportedly responsible for the most successful and most attended protests in the nation’s history, the Women’s March held the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Mic adds the organizers “intended to form a human chain around the building,” at 59th Street and 5th Avenue.
