WATCH: Trump Says Democrats Were Not Being ‘Civilized’ and Blames Them for TrumpCare Failure
Falsely Claims ObamaCare Will Soon ‘Explode’
President Donald Trump just blamed Democrats in the House for the death of TrumpCare, his bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare. The bill is dead and will never come to the floor for a vote. The bill would have kicked over 50 million people off health care within 10 years.Â
Trump falsely claimed the vote would have been very close. That’s false. He was at least 30-40 votes away from the bill passing.

Trump falsely claimed that ObamaCare “will soon explode,” and said, “I think the losers are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, this is not Republican health care, this is Democrat health care.”

“Bad things are going to happen” to ObamaCare, Trump stated, which is false. “It’s getting much worse.”
Trump went on to say “you’re going to have explosive premium increases and you’re going to have deductibles so high people can’t even use it.”
That too is false.

Trump accused Democrats of not being “civilized” but said when they become civilized and decided to work with Republicans to come up with a new health care plan he will be open to it.
“We all learned a lot, we learned about loyalty,” Trump said, adding they also learned a lot about some “arcane rules.”Â

He went on to say that ObamaCare was “rammed down everybody’s throat,” with no Republican support. TrumpCare had no Democratic support because RepublicansÂ
“I never said ‘repeal and replace it within 64 days,”” Trump said, referring to the number of days he has been in office.
Again, that too is false, he promised to repeal ObamaCare on Day One.
Trump said his next focus is tax reform.
UPDATE:
Trump, Nov 1, 2016:
“When we win on November 8th and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare.”
“I will ask Congress to convene a special session so that we can repeal and replace and it will be such an honor for me.”
