‘Propaganda’: Twitter Mocks Fox News Alert Claiming Trump ‘Spending Weekend Working at the White House’
‘Such an Absurd Falsehood When There’s Widespread Proof to the Contrary’
Twitter Sunday evening rightfully went after Fox News for a strange tweet that claimed President Donald Trump was spending the “weekend working at the White House.” It was labeled “absurd” and “propaganda” by some, back up by photos of the president at his golf range in Virginia, which he visited both Saturday and Sunday.Â

Fox News posted the tweet at 5:30 on Sunday, which was odd given the wording.
Not only did President Trump visit his golf course in Virginia both weekend days, but he hd dinner Saturday night at his Trump International Hotel in D.C. Saturday night. Sunday’s trip to the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia marked his 13th trip to one of his courses since being sworn in as president.
Many on Twitter noted Trump working on the weekend is actually his job, and therefore shouldn’t be news. Others posted video of Trump attacking President Obama for golfing.

Why would a supposed news organization propagate such an absurd falsehood when there’s widespread proof to the contrary? pic.twitter.com/v4dZdISHKp

Dear @FoxNews
1. No he didn’t
2. You are officially a propaganda machine
3. #TheResistance will hold you accountable #Collusion https://t.co/1shnAWOJgx— Mel C #DemForce (@MDemforce) March 27, 2017
Also odd was President Trump’s tweet Saturday night to his supporters to watch Judge Jeanine Pirro’s show. She opened attacking Speaker Paul Ryan for the failure of the TrumpCare bill. The White House claimed the president was merely trying to support Pirro’s show and did not know its contents.
