13 Times Donald Trump Quoted the CBO to Attack President Barack Obama
Republicans Cherry Pick the Facts They Like
Republicans and the Trump administration have been attacking the Congressional Budget Office, a nonpartisan agency that for more than four decades has delivered the best information possible on the impact of legislation Congress is considering. The Office is headed by a Republican, hand-picked by Republicans, including then-Speaker John Boehner, and then Chair of the House Budget Committee, now Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price – the person most-responsible for creating TrumpCare.
