White House Takes Credit for Excellent Jobs Report – From Before Trump Became President
‘Report Reflects the Consumer Confidence That the Trump Presidency Has Inspired’
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer just announced President Donald Trump is responsible for the excellent jobs numbers a Labor Dept. report released Friday morning showed. The American economy added 227,000 jobs in January, an increase over December’s 157,000 jobs added.Â
The report comes from a survey taken in the second week of January – before Donald Trump was sworn in as president.
“The economy added more than 227,000 new jobs, significantly more than the 175,000 that had been expected.”
“Today’s report reflects the consumer confidence that the Trump presidency has inspired. According to a new Gallup poll economic confidence is a new high,” Spicer stated.Â
Spicer: The President is pleased with the job growth, but “also recognizes that there’s a lot more work to be done” https://t.co/ms8EbJlRrF

“His first-hand experience as a successful businessman continues to guide his decision-making,” Spicer continued.Â
Ironically, during the presidential campaign, Donald Trump claimed Labor Dept. stats are fake, and that unemployment was really at 20 percent.

How can Sean Spicer both take credit for Obama’s job report & say Dodd-Frank is crippling our ability to grow jobs? pic.twitter.com/m8SxIvlv7c

227,000 jobs is not “a great kick off” Mr. Spicer, your boss #notmypresident had zero to do with Obamas great work so DO NOT TAKE CREDIT!!!!

Spicer called Dodd-Frank a disaster that’s crippling markets, jobs, economy. While also taking credit for #dow20k & jobs report.

@CNN @MSNBC @FoxNews @ABC @SeanSpicer Spicer is still Lying. Taking Credit 4 Jobs Trump didn’t Create. These are Unethical Dishonest Liars.

It’s funny how Pathological Liar Sean Spicer took credit for Obama’s final jobs report. I’m guessing the stats aren’t fake now, huh?
