Twitter Explodes Over Right Wing Provocateur Milo Arguing in Support of Sex With Young Teens
Was Just Named Key Speaker at CPAC
Conservatives once again playing with matches and gasoline have an explosion on their hands. A video has surfaced that appears to show Milo Yiannopoulos actively defending underage sex, including sex with young teens. Yiannopoulos, who has been described in the media as a figurehead of the so-called ‘alt-right’ movement, is a professional provocateur and a senior editor for Breitbart, the far right wing website whose former publisher, Steve Bannon, is now the White House Chief Strategist.
This weekend Matt Schlapp, the head of the American Conservative Union, the group that produces the annual far right wing confab known as CPAC, was forced to defend his choice of inviting Milo as a key (although he says not keynote, as has been widely reported) speaker:
We think free speech includes hearing Milo’s important perspective. #CPAC2017 pic.twitter.com/ssDS6HVmLN

Jonah 1st amendment is dead on campus. Conservatives should fight back. As radioactive as milo is he is fighting back. https://t.co/grkdlGNBt3

Milo’s “fighting back” includes getting banned from Twitter for what the Washington Post called his “racist abuse campaign” against actress and comedian Leslie Jones. It also includes attacking trans people on Bill Maher. And that’s just for starters.
His “Dangerous Faggot Tour” of college campuses draws sometimes violent demonstrations, although who the violent demonstrators are has been questioned.
Sunday night news broke that a video reportedly showing Milo defending underage sex was unearthed.Â
In the video (full transcript) he calls 13-year olds “sexually mature” and defends sex between even young teenagers, like 13 year olds, and older men. To be clear, that is legally called rape. But in the video he says, “I’m grateful for Father Michael. I wouldn’t give nearly such good head if it wasn’t for him.”
He also says, “I think particularly in the gay world and outside the Catholic church, if that’s where some of you want to go with this, I think in the gay world, some of the most important, enriching and incredibly life affirming, important shaping relationships very often between younger boys and older men, they can be hugely positive experiences for those young boys they can even save those young boys, from desolation, from suicide (people talk over each other)… providing they’re consensual.”
Again, legally, they are not consensual. They are rape, they are abuse, and should be denounced and treated as such.
Here’s a short one-minute clip an a longer five-minute clip of the discussion:
CPAC invited Milo Yiannopoulos to be their keynote.

CPAC has not uninvited him nor apologized.
On Twitter, many are furious:
Kellyanne Conway is on the board of CPAC, where Milo is giving the keynote. Bolton is on the board too. So White House owns this. https://t.co/foVuwQ97ku

When a gay GOP group presented at CPAC a few years ago, @Heritage backed out as sponsor. So far, they have no problem with Milo. Priorities.

@realDonaldTrump threatened to pull federal funding because a child rapist #Milo couldn’t speak at UC Berkeley @msignorile

He should lose his book contract, every speaking contract. And we must demand #Trump condemn the hater child rape promoter Yiannopoulos https://t.co/XcpzIDMlZE

We’ll soon learn if CPAC believe that having sex with kids is more disgusting than insuring them.

Friend of mine, conservative, could not be more distraught by this Milo tape. Was molested as a child. Horrified.
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) February 20, 2017
My friend, a survivor of sex trafficking: “Milo straight up defended abusing 13 yr old boys…Please don’t let that be normalized”
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) February 20, 2017
Preying on children is the definition of evil. Justifying it in any way is sick and disturbing.
Has everyone lost their minds?
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) February 20, 2017
As someone who’s been on this beat for a while: everything you’re learning about Milo has been public for ages. CPAC made its choice.
— Nicole Hemmer (@pastpunditry) February 20, 2017
So to be clear: Adult gays marrying each other…. CPAC bad. Adult gays fucking children… CPAC good. This is why I’m not a conservative. https://t.co/yBDmwFlfWc
— John Aravosis (@aravosis) February 20, 2017
what milo has said about trans ppl and leslie jones is as bad as the pedo stuff but cpac is fine w bullying lgbt and black people
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) February 20, 2017
It seems CPAC has no problem with priests teaching 14 y.o. boys how to perform oral sex. Trump really has changed the party. https://t.co/02zZP49t3q
— John Aravosis (@aravosis) February 20, 2017
The right is Gamergate, it’s doxxing, it’s trolling, it’s bullying. It’s Trump and Pepe and Milo and Bannon and sexual assault and bigotry.
— Chuck Wendig (@ChuckWendig) February 20, 2017
We’ve gone from “actually protesting Milo is the real fascism” to “Milo says awful things how could CPAC invite him” awfully fast.
— Matthew Yglesias (@mattyglesias) February 20, 2017
Kellyanne Conway and John Bolton on CPAC board. Pence scheduled to speak there, along with pedophilia apologist Milo. Donald Trump’s vision.
— Justin Hendrix (@justinhendrix) February 20, 2017
milo tried to destroy my life specifically b/c i tried to shut down a site (8chan) that harbored child abusers. he protects these people
— Sarah Nyberg (@srhbutts) February 20, 2017
I’d like to think Milo child rape advocacy is a dealbreaker for conservatives then I remembered these folks elected President pussy grabber.
— #SupportTheRebels (@Delo_Taylor) February 20, 2017
Milo was just on “Real Time” saying trans people were a threat to children. Clearly he was projecting.
— Gabe OrtÃz (@TUSK81) February 20, 2017
If Milo had been born in the US, he’d sooner or later become the Republican nominee for president.
— Josh Barro (@jbarro) February 20, 2017
If you think Milo’s vomitude won’t be channeled into more homophobia by the GOP, think again. He’s what they *think* all gay men are.
— Steve Silberman (@stevesilberman) February 20, 2017
Christian right going nuts. Can’t wait to see how Fox News & Breitbart — Milo’s home — handle CPAC child rape story.
— Mike Signorile (@MSignorile) February 20, 2017
The president of the United States grabs women by the vagina & a supporter he defends promotes child rape. Got your #Trump America.
