‘Apprentice’ Executive Producer Donald Trump Takes to Twitter to Embarrass Schwarzenegger Over Show’s Ratings
Schwarzenegger, a Republican, Said He Would Not Vote for Trump
A vengeful and narcissistic Donald Trump Friday morning took to Twitter to embarrass the man who replaced him as the host of “Celebrity Apprentice” over what apparently are lower ratings after the revamped version premiered this week.Â
Calling himself a “ratings machine,” Trump says Arnold Schwarzenegger was “destroyed” by comparison to Trump’s numbers.
Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got “swamped” (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for….

being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary

But Trump apparently forgot that he remains the executive producer of the show, so its performance is also a reflection on him. His name was still listed in the credits, and he still reportedly is being compensated:

Worse, the president-elect made clear his attack on Schwarzenegger, the former Republican governor of California, came out of vengeance. Schwarzenegger announced in October that for the first time since becoming a citizen in 1983, he would not be pulling the lever for his party’s nominee, and urged Americans to choose country over party:
As proud as I am to label myself a Republican, there is one label that I hold above all else – American. My full statement: pic.twitter.com/biRvY8S3aZ
