Mexico Refuses to Pay for Trump’s Wall

The President of Mexico has just canceled his scheduled trip to visit President Donald Trump in the White House. 

After President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday ordering the federal government to begin the process of building a wall on America’s southern border, the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, tweeted his “regret” over Trump’s decision to build the wall.

He also recorded a video:

Trump fought back, suggesting “t would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting” if President Peña Nieto will not pay for Trump’s wall.

President Peña Nieto has repeatedly refused to pay for the wall – and there’s no reason he should.

And so, he has.

President Peña Nieto, via Twitter, just announced he has canceled his White House trip, scheduled for next week:

He also tweeted, “Mexico reiterates its willingness to work with the United States to achieve agreements in favor of both Nations.”
