Ohio State Attacker Dead, Was Student, Used Car and Knife Not Gun, 11 Injured
Entire Incident Lasted Only About One Minute
The 18-year old attacker who caused what was first reported as an active shooting was a legal permanent resident of Somali descent. Abdul Razak Ali Artanused a family member’s car to plow into some students at the Columbus campus, then brandished a kitchen knife, slashing others before police shot and killed him.

Officials are lauding the quick actions of Alan Horujko, the 28-year old officer who ended the attack by shooting the teenager.

No motive for the attack, which left 11 people injured, has been released. All injured are expected to survive.Â
