Kellyanne Conway on Trump’s ‘Hamilton’ Tweets: ‘Why Do You Care?’ (Video)
‘Why Take Up SNL? No President Does That’ Cuomo Says
Kellyanne Conway thinks Donald Trump shouldn’t be criticized for his inane tweets. Defending the president-elect on CNN Monday morning, Conway point-blank asked “New Day” host Chris Cuomo “Why do you care?” that Trump attacked the cast of “Hamilton” and demanded equal time after an SNL skit this weekend, via Twitter.
“Why take it up?” Cuomo asked Conway. “Why take up SNL? No president does that,” he continued, talking about the TV show that has been on the air since 1975, when Gerald Ford was president. “Why waste time? Why distract?” Cuomo pressed.
“Why do you care?” Conway responded. “Who’s to say he can’t do that? Make a comment – spend five minutes sending a tweet, making a comment.”

The former Trump campaign manager insisted that the president-elect should be allowed to “cut through the noise” to tell the American people what he’s doing and going to do.
Americans, Conway insisted, have said, “what’s important to me is his 100 day plan, where he’s going to drain the swamp, and repeal and replace Obamacare, and pass meaningful tax reform, and create 25 million jobs,’ she claimed.
“That’s not what he’s tweeting about,” Cuomo reminded Conway. He also said, “a leader should also have thick skin.”Â
Ironically, Conway also suggested that Trump’s tweets, which have earned him the reputation of a cyber-bully, have no “malice.”
Trump attacked the cast of Broadway’s “Hamilton,” after vice president-elect Mike Pence was booed by the audience before the show began, and the actors at the end of the show stood on stage and told the Indiana governor they represent a diverse America and are afraid of what he and Trump will do to their communities.
The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!

The president-elect demanded the “Hamilton” cast apologize to Pence, and later attacked NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” for Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of him as an incompetent know-nothing.
I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?

Trump’s “Hamilton” tweets have led many to insist he is trying to move the nation’s focus away from the three fraud lawsuits he just settled for $25 million.Â
The American people do care that their incoming president can’t take criticism, is a cyber-bully, wastes his time going after those he sees as his enemies, and is trying to squelch dissent.
