WATCH: ‘Trump Could Be President’ Obama Tells Samantha Bee in His ‘Spooky’ Halloween Story
‘Seeing How This Is Our Halloween Interview, Can You Tell Us a Spooky Story About What Happens if People Don’t Vote?’
Samantha Bee scored a big interview for this week’s “Full Frontal”: President Barack Obama. The soon-to-be former president was quick to play along with – or hit back at – all of Bee’s questions, including this:
“Seeing how this is our Halloween interview, can you tell us a spooky story about what happens if people don’t vote?” Bee asked the leader of the free world.
“Donald Trump could be president,” Obama said, with no hesitation.
Bee went on to try to one-up the President, warning of a “Supreme Court Justice Corey Lewandowski” and a “Speaker of the House Louie Gohmert.”
The interview was designed to get millennial voters to the polls, and President Obama made sure to make his case.
“I want to let first-time voters know why it is so important to vote,” he explained. “This is probably the most important election of our lifetimes. The choices could not be clearer and if we want to build on progress on issues like climate change and gender equality and making sure that everyone has healthcare and making sure that young people have a good education and can afford college, they gotta make sure that their voices are heard.”

“Young people are actually more interested and engaged than I think we give them credit for,” Obama added.
