New NBC/WSJ Poll Shows Clinton Beating Trump by Large Numbers in Key Swing States
Proof Clinton’s Post-Convention Bounce Is Sticking
Hillary Clinton is beating Donald Trump by large numbers in several key battleground swing states, including Colorado, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina in a poll scheduled to be released at noon EDT from NBC News/The Wall Street Journal/Marist.
New: Clinton’s lead over Trump in WSJ/NBC/Marist poll:
Colorado: 46% to 32%
Virginia: 46% to 33%
No Carolina: 48% to 39%

Clinton is beating Trump by a whopping 14 points in Colorado, where the campaign stopped advertising weeks ago, 46-32. She is beating him in Virginia by 13 points, 46-33. In Florida, which could ultimately decide the election, Clinton is beating Trump by 5 points, and North Carolina, Clinton is beating Trump by 9 points.

“These are supposed to be battleground states, but right now, they don’t look that way,” says Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.
Indeed, if Clinton ultimately wins all four, Trump has no realistic path to getting the 270 electoral votes needed for victory. And even if Trump is able to win in Florida and its 29 electoral votes, he has to run the table in the other battlegrounds, including in Pennsylvania.Â
These new results come after a trio of other NBC/WSJ/Marist polls showed Clinton ahead in Iowa, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
