Donald Trump Just Exploited a Tragic Murder. Again.

GOP Nominee Tweets About the Tragic Murder of a Black Woman to ‘Prove’ African-Americans Will Vote for Him

Chicago Bulls shooting guard star Dwyane Wade took to Twitter Friday night, tweeting about the sad and tragic death of his cousin, 32-year old Nykea Aldridge, the mother of four children. She “was pushing a baby in a stroller in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood after leaving the Dulles School of Excellence at around 3:30 p.m. when two men opened fire at another man,” ABC News reports.

Grieving and mourning, Wade shared the news, and his anger and upset with his nearly 6 million followers: “My cousin was killed today in Chicago. Another act of senseless gun violence. 4 kids lost their mom for NO REASON. Unreal. #EnoughIsEnough,” the popular NBA star tweeted.

Right on cue, just as he has done at nearly every major terror attack and other tragedies, Donald Trump, rather than showing empathy, sympathy, or some form of human understanding, sadness, or support, used the tragedy, and someone’s grief, to flatter himself and “prove” he was “right” about an issue and therefore should be president.

“Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning, incorrectly spelling Wade’s first name to boot:

People on Twitter were outraged, and rightly so.

Here’s a sampling:

Trump also exploited the terror attacks in Orlando, Paris, and Nice to try to benefit his political campaign.
