The folks at Funny or Die are back, this time mocking North Carolina’s HB2 with an “official” bathroom cop training video. Watch as Officer Tammy Cox of the Bathroom Police shows new cadets how to ensure North Carolina’s public restrooms remain “a safe and wholesome place.”
Watch as she asks an unsuspecting citizen for “gender registration or a Xerox copy of your genitals,” because how else will North Carolina enforce HB2?
Mocking North Carolina’s HB2 is one way to expose its discriminatory intent. So is telling the Governor it’s illegal, as the DOJ did on Wednesday.
Funny or Die has also produced a side-splitting series of anti-gay tourism ads mocking North Carolina, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
