Breaking: Donald Trump Backs Out of Debate With Bernie Sanders – Here’s Why
You’ll Never Guess…
After agreeing on national television to debate Bernie Sanders, and after a donor came up with the $10 million he demanded, Donald Trump has just announced he will not debate Bernie Sanders.Â
Calling the Democratic nominating process “totally rigged,” and claiming that “Crooked Hillary Clinton” and Deborah Wasserman Schultz will not let Bernie Sanders win the nomination, Trump said it would be “inappropriate” for him to debate the Senator from Vermont, because he would be the “second place finisher,” and Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee.
Trump had agreed to the debate when asked by Jimmy Kimmel earlier in the week.
“Likewise, the networks want to make a killing on these events and are not proving to be too generous to charitable causes, in this case, women’s health issues,†something he made up.
“Therefore, as much as I want to debate Bernie Sanders — and it would be an easy payday — I will wait to debate the first place finisher in the Democratic Party, probably Crooked Hillary Clinton, or whoever it may be.â€
