Ohio Attorney General: At Least 7 People, Including 2 Juveniles, Dead in Pike County Mass Shooting
At Least Seven People Are Believed Dead in a Mass Shooting in Rural Ohio
EDITOR’s NOTE: The New Civil Rights Movement has called the Ohio Attorney General’s office and we’ve just received a statement that says “the victims, who are believed to be five adults and two juveniles, were shot to death.” As you can see, many news outlets are reporting five children and two adults. It’s possible the original source, the pastor, was referring to adult children, as he also mentioned a grandparent. We apologize for the error. Â
We are leaving the story below unchanged.
Local NBC affiliate WLTWÂ and other local outlets report five children and two adults are dead in a mass shooting in Pike County, Ohio. WLTW’s Todd Dykes say the sheriff’s department is not currently searching for a shooter and schools that were on lockdown no longer are.Â
At this time Lt. Preston with the Ross Co. Sheriff’s office says “there is no suspect.” He would not elaborate @Local12
