Democratic Frontrunner Will Gain Large Number of Delegates From Empire State Voters
Hillary Clinton is the projected winner of Tuesday’s New York primary. There are 247 delegates at stake in the New York Democratic primary, which will be allocated proportionally.

Currently, not including tonight’s results, Hillary Clinton has 1307 delegates, Bernie Sanders has 1094. With superdelegates added in, Clinton has 1776, Sanders has 1125. 2383 are needed to win the Democratic nomination.

Clinton had a 12-point lead in the New York polls going into today’s primary.
TIME reports “Sanders spent more than $6.8 million on television and radio ads in New York, according to data provided to the Center for Public Integrity by The Tracking Firm — about $3 million more than Clinton.”
