Ben Carson Announces No ‘Path Forward’ to White House – Will Not End Presidential Campaign-for-Cash

Greatest Admission Yet Carson for President Campaign Was Money-Making Scam

Ben Carson is finally admitting he see no path forward to win the White House, yet in a stunning admission his campaign has been a huge money-making scam, the former pediatric neurosurgeon is not suspending or ending his campaign, the Washington Post has just reported.

This morning top Carson advisor Armstrong Williams admitted that, “clearly there’s no pathway to the nomination,” but vowed Carson would stay in the race because “people who care about him, who are asking him to stay in the race, they are still sending him their small donations of $5, $10 and $20.”

“He’s had a phenomenal week of raising money and it says to him that they want him staying in the race,” Williams said, as Right Wing Watch reported.

Carson, the Post adds, will not attend the GOP debate Thursday in Detroit, but “he has decided to make a speech about his political future on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland, just outside of Washington.”

The Post adds “the announcement will serve as an acknowledgement that Carson’s candidacy is all but over following a disappointing showing in the 11 states that held contests on Tuesday.”

In a statement just posted to his website, Carson says, “this grassroots movement on behalf of ‘We the People’ will continue.”

I appreciate the support, financial and otherwise, from all corners of America. Gratefully, my campaign decisions are not constrained by finances; rather by what is in the best interests of the American people.”
