Martin Shkreli Owes $4,628,928.55 In Back Taxes To IRS: Report

‘Pharma Bro’ Offers Kanye West $10 Million For New Album

Gawker is reporting the IRS has filed a federal tax lien against “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli, claiming he owes the feds over $4.6 million. $4,628,928.55 to be exact.

Shkreli reportedly didn’t pay $3,431.85 on his taxes in 2013, but that number skyrocketed exponentially – far more even than the increase to price of Daraprim – for the 2014 tax year: $4,625,496.70.

“We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” a document obtained by Gawker reads. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interest, and costs that may accrue.”

Ironically, perhaps, when he was arrested on fraud charges in December, the FBI took time to note they did not confiscate the Wu Tang Clan album he paid $2 million for.

Just hours ago, Shkreli offered Kanye West $10 million to release his next album only to Shkreli.

Priorities, I guess.
