Donald Trump’s Dubai Real Estate Partner Just Stripped Donald Trump’s Name From A $6 Billion Project

Donald Trump’s Middle East businesses appear to be in chaos in the wake of his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.

After promising they would stand behind him, Donald Trump‘s Middle East real estate partner in Dubai, DAMAC Properties, just stripped Trump’s name, photo, and a photo of Trump’s daughter Ivanka from a $6 billion luxury golf complex.

A 2014 post (above) on DAMAC’s Facebook page advertised the new complex.

Reuters has just reported that an “advertising billboard outside the AKOYA by DAMAC development had shown Trump in a red hat swinging a golf club against a backdrop of a lush green golf course. By Thursday, the image had gone, a Reuters photographer said.”

Also gone are Ivanka Trump’s photo and gold letters for the “Trump International Gold Club.”

DAMAC last year also posted this to Twitter:

DAMAC did not make a statement so it’s unclear if the project is in jeopardy or if they have just temporarily removed Trump’s name and photos from the project until the international furor over Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering America subsides.
