Kim Davis’ Attorney Says She’s ‘The Bravest Woman In America’

Standing in front of Kim Davis‘ supporters’ posters espousing anti-gay hate, her attorney calls her “brave.”

“Today, Kim Davis remains the bravest woman in America,” and she “is not looking to pick a fight with anyone,” an attorney for the Rowan County clerk today said at a press conference. Horatio “Harry” Mihet, the chief litigation counsel for Liberty Counsel, also told reporters that Kim Davis had changed the marriage forms so her name would not appear on them. Mihet said U.S. District Judge David Bunning was aware she had altered the forms.

Mihet added that Davis has no problem recording the licenses in her office as her name does not appear on them.

Mihet also attacked Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear, and said Liberty Counsel is considering further litigation against him.
