UPDATE III: Shooter Reported Dead At Tennessee Movie Theater
A shooting suspect at a movie theater in Antioch, Tennessee is reportedly “dead.”
Witnesses reported a shooter at a Tennessee movie theater, and minutes later police reported the suspect was dead. A witness reported the shooter had both a gun and an ax.
A theater employee said she heard shots fired outside the building, southeast of Nashville.
The metro Nashville police quickly reported the suspect “dead”:

The Clarion Ledger reports a SWAT team was sent and “Jeremy Cardoza, who works at Ford Ice Center nearby, said the business was on lockdown and no one was allowed in or to leave. He said there were about 25 people there at the time, mostly children.”
WDAM reported earlier that witnesses “at a nearby business reported one person covered with blood.”

UPDATE II: 3:46 PM EDT –
Nashville Fire Dept. reports three people were pepper sprayed, and one person has a “superficial” wound that could have been caused by a “hatchet.” Who released the pepper spray is unknown. No one has been or is expected to be transported to the hospital, Brian Haas of the NFD says during a live press conference on MSNBC.Â
UPDATE III: 4:05 PM EDT –
A police spokesperson says the shooter was a local 51-year old white male, and he is the one who discharged the pepper spray.
