Pat Robertson: SCOTUS’s ‘Strange Rules’ Will Next Legalize ‘Love Affairs Between Men And Animals’

Pat Robertson is out with even more ridiculous claims, including legalization of bestiality, pedophilia, and polygamy.

This might be one of Pat Robertson‘s strangest responses to viewer mail yet.

A viewer named Thomas, who clearly has been listening to too many conservative “news” outlets, writes in to Robertson lamenting the at-best faulty story that Planned Parenthood is “harvesting” the “human body parts” of aborted fetuses and selling them.

“How could this kind of sociopathic hypocrisy possibly be legal?,” he asks.

Robertson’s answer should have been, “It’s not, move on,” but instead the octogenarian televangelist launches into an attack on the Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v. Wade, and then its recent same-sex marriage ruling, and then offers up some very strange claims.

Robertson calls the clearly-defined and settled concept of separation of church and state, “strange rules,” and then, he fear-mongers over the future.

“You watch what’s going to happen now. They’ve said abortion is a constitutional right, they’ve said homosexuality is a constitutional right, they’ve said now homosexual marriage now is a constitutional right.”

“Watch what happens. Love affairs between men and animals will be going absolutely permitted,” Robertson told the viewer. “Polygamy, without question, is going to be permitted. And it will be called a right.”

Robertson’s co-host Terry Meeuwsen interrupted, claiming that “relationships with children,” will become legal, with Robertson agreeing, claiming that “they will succeed now” in legalizing pedophilia because “intellectually you can’t get around these Supreme Court decisions.”

So, next up, according to Robertson are the legalization of bestiality, polygamy, and pedophilia.

To add to the strangeness of Robertson’s attack, he concludes that “we are stuck with a fixed doctrine of five old men on the Supreme Court – five men with black robes, they’re not all old anymore.”

We’ll let you figure that one out…

Stacey Abrams Is Trending Because ‘Openly Pro-Virus’ Brian Kemp Just Banned Cities From Requiring Masks – After Meeting Trump

Welcome to Georgia, the state that ranks eighth in population but fourth in new COVID-19 cases.

As the coronavirus spreads across the Peach State, Republican Governor Brian Kemp on Wednesday issued an executive order banning all cities and town from requiring face masks to be worn. Curiously, the directive came just hours after he met with President Donald Trump.

(That’s Gov. Kemp in the photo above on the right on Wednesday, wearing a mask, speaking with President Trump.)

That means at least 15 cities currently requiring face masks now have to rescind those orders.

Face masks have proven to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus, which is unchecked in the United States, but under control in many other countries across the globe.

Kemp, who some believe effectively stole the gubernatorial election from former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, was one of the last governors to shut down his state. He finally did after falsely suggesting the CDC had just discovered asymptomatic people spread the virus, a fact that was known for at least weeks. Kemp was also the first governor to open up his state. It was a decision so extreme it even drew a rebuke from President Trump. Later his Public Health Department released a graph purportedly showing the spread had slowed – except it had been manipulated, with data out of chronological order.

Now Kemp is banning the requirement to wear a mask, which led to immediate outrage – and many to once again remind Georgia voters Stacey Abrams could have been their governor.

Abrams slammed Kemp on MSNBC Wednesday night, saying Kemp “is too afraid of the consequences of leadership to actually demonstrate any.”

“More than 3,000 Georgians have perished, disproportionately Black and Brown Georgians, and he continues to fiddle while Rome burns,” Abrams continued. “This is not a man who’s capable of leadership.”

Some are now calling Gov. Kemp “openly pro-virus.”

Take a look.

New Trump Ad Reveals Why His Re-Election Campaign Is Such a Disaster

There’s a new ad out from the Trump campaign, and it shows quite clearly why the president’s team is having such a hard time selling the prospect of his re-election.

The video begins by listing a series of supposed agenda items from the “radical left-wing mob” — taking over cities, defunding police — claiming that Biden supports these goals.

Clearly, the Trump campaign had a plan to run against Sen. Bernie Sanders as a dangerous socialist, and it’s trying to use that same playbook against Biden. But however effective that script may or may not have been against Sanders, it’s clearly an uphill battle to use it against Biden. Biden famously and decisively won the primary against Sanders by running in opposition to the left-wing of the Democratic Party, so it will be hard to convince voters that he’s a secret radical.

At one point, the ad claims Biden supports “cutting police funding,” by quoting a short snippet of an interview in which Biden said “Yes, absolutely.” In reality, Biden’s response came to the question: “But do we agree that we can redirect some of the [police’s] funding?” That’s hardly a radical idea. And the fact that the Trump ad clearly cut off the question Biden was answering showed it was afraid of letting viewers hear the true context. In other statements, Biden has distanced himself from the “Defund the Police” slogan.

So the initial attack on Biden was pretty weak. But what followed in the ad really made clear that the Trump campaign is in dire straits.

“Violent crime exploding. Innocent children fatally shot,” the narrator said, with recent news stories cited on the bottom of the screen. All throughout the ad, images of recent protests and unrest played in the background. “Who will be there to answer the call when your children aren’t safe?”

What makes this so disastrous for the president is it acknowledges problems going on right now — problems that Trump is doing nothing to solve. If it wants viewers to believe there’s chaos that only Trump can fix, it raises the question: Why hasn’t the incumbent president fixed it? Why should we believe a Biden presidency is so scary when the supposedly bad things are happening now?

To win over voters, the Trump campaign is trying to argue that Biden would be some dangerous departure from the status quo. But Biden was a sitting vice president during a recent administration that ended on much better terms than the country is currently experiencing. So it’s hard to see many viewers who aren’t already Trump fans becoming convinced by such an ad.

Yet it seems that Team Trump has no better strategy for winning the election. They want us to believe that a member of the political establishment is a revolutionary and that the problems arising under Trump are somehow someone else’s fault. And the fundamental truth is that this narrative that they’d like voters to believe just doesn’t match with the facts of American life in 2020.

Trump Replaces Brad Parscale As Re-Election Campaign Hits the Skids

President Donald Trump has just replaced his flailing campaign manager Brad Parscale, as experts increasingly say his re-election chances wither. Parscale will stay with the campaign in the role he had during 2016.

Trump made the announcement on Facebook, trying to put a positive spin on the bad news.

“I am pleased to announce that Bill Stepien has been promoted to the role of Trump Campaign Manager,” the president said.  “Brad Parscale, who has been with me for a very long time and has led our tremendous digital and data strategies, will remain in that role, while being a Senior Advisor to the campaign. Both were heavily involved in our historic 2016 win, and I look forward to having a big and very important second win together. This one should be a lot easier as our poll numbers are rising fast, the economy is getting better, vaccines and therapeutics will soon be on the way, and Americans want safe streets and communities!”

Just hours ago a devastating Quinnipiac poll put former Vice President Joe Biden 15 points ahead of Trump. Worse, the polling organization’s analyst reported the results offer “no upside, no silver lining, no encouraging trend hidden somewhere in this survey for the president.”

Stepien, who was embroiled in the infamous “Bridgegate” scandal, had been Chris Christie’s chief of staff until the former New Jersey governor fired him in 2014.
