Hillary Clinton becomes first and so far only 2016 candidate for the White House from either party to wish America a Happy Pride Month.
Today Hillary Clinton, likely hoping for a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court supporting the right of same-sex couples to marry, sent a message via Twitter wishing everyone a “Happy Pride Month.”
The 2016 Democratic candidate, who recently was joined by Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley in the race for the Democratic nomination, also tweeted her 2016 Pride Month shop will soon be open (it’s not as of this writing.)
Clinton today via Twitter also announced the location of her official in-person campaign launch, as opposed to her official announcement that she is running, which she made April 12.
