If You Think This Is Bad, Wait Until You See The Caption
A religious non-profit that says it is “called to love everyone, especially our enemies,” chose to voice its opinion on LGBT people with this image.
Catholic Vote is a small, little-known non-profit that took in just over $1 million in 2013. It seems to like to hide its tracks, providing the tiniest bit of information necessary.
It does have an active Twitter and Facebook presence, however.
As the nation was winding down from the emotional upheaval caused by Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and his signing of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, and as we approached Good Friday and the Easter weekend, Catholic Vote decided to post this visual commentary, tagged #RFRA, to Twitter and to its Facebook page:

Wolf in sheep’s (rainbow, which equals LGBT) clothing, get it?
Now, maybe you’re a religious person, don’t support equality, and felt challenged or maybe even vilified this week.
Maybe you’re a religious person, and do support equality, yet felt challenged or maybe even vilified this week.
Or maybe you’re not religious, etc.
Regardless, do you think that posting such an ugly, hate-filled message attacking an entire class of people is a good thing to do? Is it Christian? Or Catholic? What would it say about your character? Your maturity? Your ability to live according to the values you claim to profess?Â
Catholic Vote says it is “a lay-led movement of committed Catholics who are passionate about living out the truths proclaimed by Christ and His Church in the modern world.”
Is this something Jesus would do?
By the way, this image was also posted to Facebook and Twitter by Thomas Peters, a former National Organization For Marriage (NOM) employee who calls himself American Papist and who blogs at Catholic Vote.
