Tweet Of The Day: Hillary Clinton
The likely Democratic presidential candidate unleashed a scathing attack on the GOP this afternoon. Take a look.
On Monday afternoon, Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to unleash an attack on the GOP. The former Secretary of State accused Congressional Republicans of a “trifecta against women today.”
Congressional trifecta against women today: 1) Blocking great nominee, 1st African American woman AG, for longer than any AG in 30 years…

…2) Playing politics with trafficking victims… 3) Threatening women’s health & rights.

In just three hours, her tweets, combined, were retweeted about 2500 times, and favorited about 2900 times.
The story was quickly picked up by Politico, which notes that “Clinton’s social media outburst comes after Loretta Lynch has been waiting for Senate confirmation for 128 days.”
On Sunday, Senate Majority Leader announced he was holding Lynch hostage, refusing to even schedule a vote for the Attorney General candidate until Democrats allow an abortion provision in the Human Trafficking Bill to stand.
“Democrats want to assure a pregnant 12-year-old isn’t forced to be an incubator for her rapist’s baby by the U.S. government. They are also not happy about the sneaky way the provision appeared in the bill and want it removed before they vote,” NCRM reported earlier today.
