Lawmaker Who Rehomed Girls To Rapist Files Bill Designed To Prevent Minors From Getting Abortions
Justin Harris just three weeks ago filed legislation that would make it extremely difficult to nearly impossible for a minor to get an abortion.
It seems the strange and disgusting tale of Justin Harris gets more strange and disgusting each day.
Despite the fact that the mainstream media, especially cable news channels, all but refuse to report on his story, Harris is becoming increasingly well-known around the country.Â
Rep. Justin Harris is a Republican lawmaker in the state of Arkansas. He is also a small businessman, the owner of a Christian preschool that has received approximately one million dollars in taxpayer funds despite being a religious institution. Harris has authored, sponsored, and voted for bills that would benefit him and his Christian preschool.

Harris is also the man who with his wife Marsha adopted two girls aged 3 and 6, despite being ill-equipped to handle their special needs. The girls experienced trauma at their biological family’s home and yet, despite being told of the challenges the girls would present, the Harrises pressed to adopt them.Â
When the going got tough, Rep. Harris “re-homed” them to another family. The husband of that family shortly after raped the 6-year old girl, along with two other girls. For a 3-month period he worked at Harris’ Christian preschool. When news broke that a former employee went to jail for rape, Harris did not disclose that the victim was his adopted daughter.

Over the past day, news broke that the Harrises kept the older of the girls in a locked room where their babysitter watched her via a video camera. The Harrises also had the girls exorcised to remove the demons they believe possessed the children, whom they also believe could communicate telepathically.
If all this seems extraordinary, it should, because it is.
Now we learn more about Rep. Harris’ deeds as an Arkansas state lawmaker.
Just three weeks ago, Harris filed a bill that would remove the law requiring parental notification if a minor undergoes an abortion, and replace it with The Parental Involvement Enhancement Act.
Harris’ new bill strikes the language requiring a medical doctor performing an abortion on a minor to notify the teen’s parents, and makes it extremely difficult and challenging for a minor to access abortion services.
A minor, should Harris’ bill become law, would have to jump through an extraordinary number of hoops, including presenting a notarized statement from at least one parent authorizing the abortion. In the case of incestuous rape from a teenaged girl’s father who did not want the abortion, she would be legally required to give birth to her father’s baby. Her only recourse is to petition an Arkansas court to waive the parental consent law, a task most minors couldn’t begin to navigate. And at that point, a judge has tremendous leeway to deny her request.
The bill also mandates the operating physician utilize a state-created consent form which, Harris stipulates, must include:
“A detailed list of the risks and hazards related to the surgical or medical procedures planned for the pregnant woman, including without limitation the following risks and hazards that may occur: (A) Infection; (B) Blood clots; (C) Hemorrhage; (D) Allergic reactions; (E) A hole in the uterus or other damage to the uterus; (F) Sterility; (G) Injury to the bowel or bladder; (H) Possible hysterectomy as a result of complication or injury during the procedure; (I) Failure to remove all products of conception; (J) Possible continuation of pregnancy; (K) Cramping of the uterus or pelvic pain; (L) Cervical laceration; (M) Incompetent cervix; (N) Emergency treatment for any complications; or (O) Death;”
This, of course, is only a small excerpt from the bill’s 18 pages.

@theweirderhalf Abused girls don’t tell their parents about abortion b/c they are being abused BY THEIR PARENTS. #hb1424 is TERRIBLE. #arleg

#JustinHarris introduces #HB1424—a bill requiring minor girls to bear their rapist babies. #Shameless #Sociopath

Maybe a better idea than #JustinHarris‘ bill #HB1424 is: just don’t hand your daughter over to a rapist?
— Scott Wooledge (@Clarknt67) March 12, 2015
And how fitting sponsor of #hb1424 (raped girls must get permission from parents 2 abort) is (of course) #justinharris #arleg #argop #arpx

Just NO WAY way that Harris has ANY credibility left as a child advocate. #hb1424 is appalling in its lack of care for abused girls. #arleg

Tragic after this week’s news that the Harris bill #hb1424 wants to FORCE minors to have their rapists/abusers children. Terrible. #arleg

Re: #hb1424 Parental consent laws increase the likelihood of more complicated later-term abortions. Not helpful. #arleg #arpx
