France’s ‘Daily Show’ Continues To Hilariously Mock Fox News Coverage Of Paris ‘No-Go Zones’
Fox News’ lies about supposed “no-go zones” in Paris gave French TV the fuel to mercilessly mock the US cable news channel.
“Le Petit Journal,” France’s version of Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show,” continued its campaign of mocking and ridiculing Fox News after the U.S. cable news giant last week put guests on-air who lied repeatedly about supposed “no-go zones” in Europe. Those reports were prompted by the terrorist attack on French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Fox, in an extremely rare move, issued several apologies over the weekend for the false reporting. The existence of supposed “no-go zones,” which, according to Fox News “experts” are populated solely by Muslims who follow Islamic, not French or English law, has been debunked.

In this latest satirical skit, two scared Fox News “reporters,” having just arrived in Paris proclaim, “Paris is the most dangerous city in the world!”Â
They see Islamists everywhere, and every man with a beard they think is a Muslim.Â
At one point in the skit one of the reporters goes up to a man unlocking his bicycle and accuses him of stealing it, a nod to Fox News’ (intentionally?) false reporting.
The short clip is filled with “Massive Alert” and “Breaking News” graphics and explosions.
“People are afraid. Paris is a very dangerous city,” the American Fox News journalists report. With no proof beyond their own fear, paranoia, and ignorance, they conclude, “Paris is the most dangerous city in the universe!”
