The Dalai Lama sat down with TV veteran Larry King last week and talked about same-sex marriage. His Holiness says that same-sex marriage is fine as long as both parties are willing and consenting adults. He added that for people of faith, they should stick to their religious beliefs, but stressed that same-sex marriage is an “individual business.”
The Dalai Lama also took a moment to condemn anti-LGBT bullying as a “violation of human right.”
The Dalai Lama, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, is the head of the Tibetan government in exile.
