Bill Maher: God Is A ‘Psychotic Mass Murderer’ (Video)
Bill Maher last night called the Christian Old Testament god a “psychotic mass murderer who gets away with it,” a “tyrant,” and Americans “stupid” because 60 percent of them believe the “immoral†and “impossibly childish” tale of Noah and the ark to be literally true.
Maher accused  conservatives of “always going on about how Americans are losing their values and their morality,” and told them, “maybe it’s because you worship a guy who drowns babies.”
“What kind of tyrant kills everyone just to get back at the few he’s mad at? I mean, besides Chris Christie,†Maher quipped.
“Isn’t life hard enough without making shit up out of thin air to fuck with yourself?,” he asked, detailing a litany of religions and their “restraining regulations,” like conservative orthodox Jewish people wearing black wool on hot summer days, or Mormons not being able to drink hot chocolate to warm up in winter.
Maher also slammed conservatives and science-deniers for being “a full four centuries removed from the scientific revolution. Four centuries after Copernicus, where humans learned that we could actually get a real answer to almost every question about our world, like, ‘Where does the sun go at night?'”
The comedian also mocked that after the Biblical flood, “God’s genius plan after he kills everyone is to repopulate the earth with the same crop of assholes who pissed him off the first time.”
