Watch: Lady Gaga Stands With Soldiers Against DADT At VMA
At The MTV Video Music Awards last night, renowned pop sensation Lady Gaga stood next to soldiers discharged under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” to announce once again her support for its repeal.
Saying, “these are all my friends,” Gaga explained, “No one person is more valuable than another person.”
Indeed.
Gaga won Video of the Year, and seven other awards at the MTV show. The front page of her website currently shows her support and links directly to SLDN, the Servicemembers Legal Defense Fund, who invite you to, “Tell Sen. Harry Reid and your home state senators to end ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ by voting the week of September 20 in Washington, D.C.”
