Stuart Walker Murder: Suspect Arrested, Child Abuse Allegations Phony
The murder case of Stuart Walker, the 28-year old gay man who was beaten to death, burned, and possibly sexually assaulted in Scotland early Saturday morning, has some important new developments. A suspect, 18-years old, has been arrested and is being questioned by police. And the so-called news, that Stuart Walker was the focus of a child abuse case has been debunked as a “malicious” lie.

“A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: ‘We can confirm that an 18-year-old man is currently detained in connection with this inquiry’,” Pink News reports.
The man was taken into custody last night, reports said.
Mr Walker’s death is not currently being treated as motivated by homophobia, although police say they are keeping an open mind.
Few details of his injuries have been released but police said he had been subjected to an “extremely violent and sustained attackâ€.
Officers said the attack was not thought to be random and that it was likely Mr Walker knew his attackers.
The Daily Record reports the news that Stuart Walker was under investigation for child abuse was “malicious” and came from a “lying rapist” who has been “accused of breaching the rules of the sex offenders’ register.”
But as police continued their investigation into Stuart’s brutal murder in Cumnock, Ayrshire, last Saturday, a Crown Office source said the abuse allegation had been considered “malicious”.
The source said: “It was being considered by the fiscal when Stuart died but there was absolutely no corroboration for the allegation.
“The claim was that Stuart placed his hand down the boy’s trousers. It appeared to be utter nonsense and was going nowhere.
“Stuart has no history of such offending. He has a couple of motoring offences but that’s it.”
The insider said the incident was alleged to have taken place on August 20 at the home of a friend of Stuart.
He said: “Among people there were Stuart, the 12-year-old boy and his mum. The mum’s partner wasn’t there but at one point spoke to her on the phone.
“He was giving her a hard time and Stuart is said to have shouted a comment along the lines of, ‘You should get rid of him – he’s nothing but trouble.’
“The mum’s partner overheard and was furious. There was no suggestion at the time Stuart had inappropriately touched any child and one theory is the partner sought revenge by reporting Stuart to the police.”
A Cumnock resident with direct knowledge of what happened on the day backed up the source’s version of events.
The person said: “The guy who reported Stuart is trouble and everyone knows it. He’s scum.
“We think this guy saw Stuart as an easy target as he’s openly gay. Stuart was horrified about the report.
“It put him under a ridiculous amount of stress in what was ultimately his final days.”
Stuart’s aunt Linda Woods, 55, said: “We do not believe Stuart would have done anything like this. It does not make sense.
“When we found out a paper was going to run this, the family was crushed.”
Stuart’s accuser has a conviction for raping a woman after pinning her down and threatening to kill her.
