Updated: Now With Video!

The Huffington Post just published a video clearly showing a Tea Party protester spitting on Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.)
“Cleaver released a statement confirming the incident, but some questioned his claims. Fox News personality Sean Hannity asked if there was any evidence proving that it had actually happened, and Tea Party groups offered a cash reward for proof.”
I, for one, am sick and tired of the naysayers on the right, like Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and their clan, claiming some vast left-wing conspiracy, claiming that the left has “faked the hate.” With something so pervasive, it would be like someone trying to create fake air. Why bother, when there’s so much of it around?
UPDATE: You’ll have to travel over to HuffPo to watch the video. I’ve found a longer version of the same video on YouTube, so it’s embedded below. Turn your volume down a bit too — it’s rather loud. And the message is rather clear.
I applaud the Congressional Black Caucus who walked through that revolting crowd, and rose above them. Congratulations. Despite the hatred and obvious racism, it’s wonderful to see how far they, and thanks to them, all oppressed people, have become.
